What is DMS Payments?
According to its website, DMS Payments, also known as Debt Management Service Payments, is a debt collecting agency that purports to assist clients in paying off debts. They assert to be debt collectors for both private citizens and businesses. Unfortunately, many people have complained about falsely being accused of debt. Frequently menacing messages, calls, and voicemails are received by them.
The caller sometimes goes by Philip and other times by Christopher.
DMS Payments: Is This Debt Collector a Scam?
My research indicates that DMS Payments is not at all authentic. Online reviews and complaints highlight the company's dubious appearance. To begin with, there is a dearth of concrete information regarding their background and identity on the website. Second, the website employs the same methodology as debt collection firms "ASG Recovers" and KBS Collect, both of which have received fines and orders to stop and desist from California.
In the meantime, the website "dmspayment.com" was registered on October 2022, according to who.is, a domain checking tool. This demonstrates that DMS Payments, a recent addition to the industry, is a division of ASG Recovers & KBS Collect.
